The rain during the night left no marked effect on the course, which was hi good order. ’ Results:— Mangaroa High-Weight Handicap, 14 miles.—Enare (9.0) 1, Carawock (10.0) 2, Vagabond (11.6) 3. All started. Won by two lengths, a neck between second and third. Time, 2.12 1-5, January Weltfer Handicap, 1 mile. —Passionless (7-9) 1, Prince Fe:ouz (8;8) 2, Kerb (7.12) 3. Scratched: Zouave. Won by half a length. Time, 1.41 4-5/“
