A. & P. Conference
MEETING AT STRATFORD. A conference of Agricultural and Pastoral Associations in Taranaki wa s held at Stratford to-day when the following representatives were present:—Messrs W. B. Grant and W. Hall (Taranaki), B. A. Washer and M. 0. Crighton (Epmont), L. T. Aylward. J. W. Boon and A. J. Barr Stratford). Mr Grant presided, and briefly welcomed the delegates. He expressed the hope that the conference would he of mutual help, and enable the Associations to csirry out the : T work more satisfactorily. The conference then went into committee, first discussing the r:ih>s of the New Zealand Side Showmen's Association as affecting the Associations.
