They hauled down the Republic flags and hoisted the Kaiser's standard instead. It is stated 400,000 Fascist* have been enrolled. The Communists have retorted by calling a general strike. There have been numerous clashes between the Republican's and the Fasejlsti, who occupied the city hall and were driven out by the municipal officials. General Luderidorf received a groat reception at Nuremberg station. Tho Communists at Essen attempted to establish a dictatorship, but tho police prevented, anything serious, though the Communists continue their efforts, relying upon the general discontont among the workers.
