SUSPICIOUS CASE AT WAITAR\. Per Press Association. , Waitara, September 2. An incident collected with a fire which occurred at 1.30 yesterday morning in a building known as the Old Auction Mart, situated in a business block, was the finding of a sack smelling very strongly of kerosene in the lining of the wall. The first-comer poured a ; Jmcket of water on the flames through a broken outside plank at the seat of the fire, this accounting fqr the sack not burning, and the police were able in the morning to secure it only partly burnt. The building which was unoccupied for sometime, was insurud for £3OO in the United. The brigade averted the total destruction of the place.
