The despatch further states that tiho fire extended throughout the down-town sections of Tokio, destroying the central telegraph and telephone offices. The fire was stopped at noon when favourable atmospheric and physical conditions assisted the firemen to check the flames. A despatch cabled from New York to-day described the fourteen hours before the Tonuoka message was flashed. CONFUSION IN TOKIO.
