Commission on the capital of Estates when realised is now charged according to the following scale: On the first £SOOO, 2-' per cent. On the next £SOOO, If per cent. On the next £40,000. 1 per cent. On excess of £50,000. 4 per cent. As an exception to this scale, the charge on certain estates of not more than £IOOO is value is— On the first £4OO. 5 per cent. On balance, 2J per cent. Income Charges: The commission charged on rent or on interest on mortgages has been reduced from 5 per cent, to 2£ per cent, on amounts in excess of £SOO per annum. The concessions apply to estates under administration by the Public Trustee on the Ist April, 1923, and on estates accepted after that date.
