ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of shareholders of the Makahu Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd... was held at. Stratford on Friday. There was a representative attendance of members. Mr A. Coyne (chairman of directors) presided.-The retiring director, Mr J. F. Kopko, was re-eleted, and Air W. Power was reappointed auditor. The report and balance-sheet were presented and adopted. The report stated that the past season was fairly good. The cheese was shipped on consignment, the greater part had been sold and realised a satisfactory average price. The cheese unsold was valued at 8d per lb. Suppliers received advances at the rate Is 3d per lb of bntterfat and it is proposed to pay the balance as soon as available. The buildings have been painted and the plant is Jcept in fair order. Mr W Cave has been appointed manager and wo foel certain wall give satisfaction. Milk received. 1,459,894-lbs; bntterfat, 56,9951b5; lb s cheese to lb bntterfat, 2.5571b5; lbs milk to lb cheese, 10.07 lbs; cheese (factory weight), 144,987 lbs average test, 3.9. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr A. Coyne was re-elected chairman for the ensuing year.
