CHRISTCHURCH SESSIONS. .— i Per Press Association Christchurch, August 30. Thomas Edward Brosnahan vras charged with conspiracy to defraud. I He faiiled to appear for trial at the Supremo Court. Two other men, James Howat and Clifford M'Tavish, who were in custody, stepped into the dock in connection with the same charge. There was no appearance of Bro&nahan, who was out on bail. The Judge issued a warrant and Brosaiahan was arrested on his way to the Court, where he stated that he understood that the sheep-steal-•nig case would have been continued till Saturday.
