Discussing the problem of the British Foreign Policy, the Daily News refers to the increasing demand that the Dominions be consulted in matteer.s of moment like our relations with Egypt, the quarrel with Turkey, and the reconstruction of Europe. The paper says: “Home statesmen would do well to remember that the Dominions are now fully grown, and ola'm an equal share of the responsibility In the Empire’s policies. If what they claim as a right is denied them, even as a matter of goodwill it will no longer be possible tflj, rely on their dose co-operation in any national emergency, or in the conduct of I mperial affairs. Another Chnnak incident would intolerably strain the loyalty of our Overseas kinsmen, possibly ending in utter disaster.’s
