SUDDEN DEATH AT MEETING.
Per Press Association. Dunedin, August 28.
There was a tragic occurrence at the meeting of the Clutha County Council at Balclutha to-day, when Councillor George Bunt, the representative of the Clydevale riding, suddenly collapsed in his chair at the council table and died within five minutes from heart failure. Deceased was a new member of the council, having been returned at a by-election a few months ago. It is understood he had been under treatment trouble for some time r:i-l.
