At a meeting of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, Mr J. G. Martm advanced another reason for a settlement of the Ruhr question when he stated that the collapse in the dairy produce market was directly due to tins. The French occupation, said Mr Martin, had resulted in chaotic exchange conditions, and Denmark had been forced to dump hex- Falter and cheese on the United Kingdom, the only free market, causing a glut.
