SALE AT STRATFORD. There was ai good attendance of farmers and others at the pedigree Freisian sale held yesterday at Newton King Ltd.’s sales bazaar, Stratford. when: the herd of Mr C. Mayhead, of the Oaigieburn Freisian Stud, Kahouri Road, Stratford, was offered by th© joint auctioneering firms of Newton King Ltd. find Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Cb„ Ltd. A number of commissions for outside buyers were executed, the chief of which were the following:— Bull, King Nazli Alcartra Pietje, on behalf a Nelson buyer, at £195 6s Cow. Rajah Spot, for Christchurch, £3B 17s. Cow, Brookland’s Pride,- for the Bloomfield Farm Company, £55 13s; and heifer, Kathleen Pretty Pietje, for the same Company, £22 Is.
