THE KING’S THEATRE. “AFTER MIDNIGHT.” A splendid programme is announced to be screened at the King’s Theatre, Stratford, td-night, including the drama with, Tom Mix in “Man from Within,” a Christie comedy “Husband in Haste,” scenic as usual, and the Selznick production, “After Midnight,” with the following cast: Gordon Phillips (the stranger); Conway Tearle; Mrs Phillips, Zena Keefe; Warren Block, Mary Harlem; Mock Sing, Charlie Fag; Toy Sing, Woo Lang; and Harris, Harry Allen. When a man goes single-handed into the Chinese underworld of New York there is generally a pretty girl somewhere to be rescued. This time the girl is Zena Keefe; and Conwav Tearle puts up a wonderful light before wins her out of the opium dens. There is plenty of exciting , events in this Ralph Ince production, which is one of the best Selznick pictures released for some time. Usual prices will be charged, and patrons are requested to book their seats.
