ECMONT-WANCANUI HUNT. The totalisator handled £11,229 compared with £9,948 last year. In the jumping events there were several fads, but no serious injuries were sustained. In the Hack ana Hunters’ Hurdles Naughty fell, and the rider (E. Oopestakol sustained a broken collarbone. In the Hunters’ Hurdles St. Myrth fell and P. Raynor dislocated big shoulder. Hie Hunt Club Cup proved a chapter of accidents. three horses falling, viz., Sp eadeagle, Waitiaka. and Paraoa. The jockeys all escaped, but Spreadeagle was somewhat seriously in jured.
