Taxation Burden

The Daily Telegraph, in a special article, publishes interviews with the leaders of commercial and financial circles, pointing out that the increase in Federal taxation is seriously handicapping manufacturers and production in Australia. Mr Kerr, president of the Chamber of Manufactures, quotes Now Zealand as a pattern for the Commonwealth, stating that when the Dominion showed a surplus taxation was reduced twenty per cent.
