The Hon. W. F. Massey to sail by the Tahiti on August 28th, connecting with the Majestic for London; At last night's meeting of the School Committor the resignation of Mr J. T. Lmo'ian was received. Tn his lettep Mr Linehan expressed his appreciation of the good relations which "had existed between himself and. the present committee and the past committees during the seven years he had been at the school. It was decided to write to Mr Linehan, congratulating him on securing the bf\idmasterr-"hip of the Rahotu School. The chairman (Mr W. Pinhey), in eulogising Mr Linehan's services to'the school, said that at the time he loft (lie school Mr Linehan held the record of having the longest service of any of the male teachers at the school.
