N.S.W. CRO"SS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP. Sydney, August 10. The Now! South Wales five Ihiles oroysisr-country championship was run on the Randwiick course. There were iifty-fivo competitors. The was won by the Botany Harriers and the individual championship by P. Bailey (South Sydney), with R. Roso (New Zealand) second and J. McKenzie (South Sydney) third. Page (Now ealan) ran tenth. The time was 27min. SOsec,. a record for the course. Nalder did not start. CARR WINS IN HUNGARY. Prague, August 17. Garf won an exhibition, bund cod metres at Olmutz, again recording 10 ,'W>scc., beating Suoboda, the Bohemian champion.
