''ALL BLACKS," "ALL REDS," AND "ALL 'DEADHEADS.' "... I have the honour of leading a party, with six representative footballers in it, as no other party has, proudly exclaimed the Leader* of tho Opposition (Mr T. M. Wilford) in the House of Representatives on Wednesday afternoon, in the course ol the second reading debate on the Amusement Tax Amendment Bill. The Prime Minister; Wo have one All-Black, and that is more than you can say. (Laughter.) You and I would do very well 'a s full-backs. (Laughter). Mr Wilford: We would be all right in goal. Mr E. J. Howard (Christchurch South) observed that tho Labour Party looked upon the Reform Party a.s all blacks. (Laughtor). A Reform member : You are all Rods. (Laughter). Mr Howard suggested that lion, members had been demoralised by the fact that the sports bodies sent them free tickets for their gatherings. They were all "dead heads." If they had to pay for the tickets and to pay the tax as well, the tax might not have lasted so long.
