THREE OFFICALS SUSPENDED. Per Press Association. Wanganui, August 13. The Wanganui Rugby Union this evening conducted an inquiry into the failure of four Native players —member ß of the Rata Olub, in the Rangitikei Sub-Union—to make the trip with the Wanganui touring team. After, a lengthy hearing, during which the Rangitikei officials admitted informing the Wanganui delegation erroneously that a subunion meeting had been held and had rescinded a certain motion, the Ru dry Union resolved as follows: (1) That the suspension of the Rangitikei Sub-Union be lifted as from the 14th instant at 12 noon, its misdemeanours having been covered by open and frank admits.'on of ignorance of the rules.

(2} That the four players bo censiired and their suspension be lifted as from 14th instant at 12 noon. (3) That Messrs L. Hammond, 0. Gibbons and Whitecombe (Rangitikei Sub-Union officials) be suspended till the end of the season. TOUR OF CHINESE TEAM. Association—Copyright Sydney, August 13.
