MRS E. S. RUTHERFURD. The very deepest regret will bo felt by a largo circle of friends at the most unexpectedly sudden death of Mrs Ruthorfurd, wife of Mr E. S. Rutherford, of the well-known legal firm of Messrs Ruthorfurd, Macalistor and Coleman. Thu Into Mrs Ruthorfurd, who was tho cider daughter of Mr F. W. Wake, of Auckland, was only 33 years of age, and was appaiently in excellent health until a few days ago, when she contracted an attack c<f influenza, which seriously affected her health, a daughter being prematurely bom yesterday morning. Despite eve'y medical attention and the services of personal friends and the best trained nursing, tho fight to save tho mother’s life was a ho poles i one, and Mrs RuEherfurd passed ! away at II o’clock last night.
