LAW FOR MOTORISTS. Per Press Assmoiatioij Wellington, August 7. "We should have a uniform traffic signal which every motorist, .should know of," said Mr. 0. M. Banks, president of the Now Zealand Automobilo Union, at the annual meeting to-day. He moved that a resolution in that direction bo adopted' paxticulars and illustrations being sent to all motor associations with a recommendation that they be adopted by all motorists. It was decided to get in touch, witli all motorists' associations, ascertain their views and then take action. It was stated a motor vehicles Bill was absolutely essential. The question of dazzling headlights was discussed, but no decision was arrived at. The subject was referred to the incoming executive. Tho level-crossing question wae discussed. Tho opinion wa s expressed that tho present regulations were a farce, being unreasonable and impossible to comply with. The Minister for Railways will be asked to amend the regulations and consult the mi ion.
