M.IJV'S FATAL MISTAKE. Wellington, August 9. At an inquest on Michael O'Rielly, who died as a result of taS'ng poison, the police evidence was that O'Reilly said he had taken spirits of salt in mistake for whisky. The verdict was in accordance with this evidence, CYCLIST KILLED. Timaru, August 9. As a result of a collision between a bicycle and a motor lorry Daniel Munday, aged 19. a cycle mechanic of Hadlow, died in hospital this afternoon. WANGANUI RIVER FATALITY. Wanganui, August 9.
