Itosiria Sarah Mac Fie, a well-knov.n social worker - and member of ijiv Hospital Board, was charged in the j Supreme Court to-day wdth having attempted to dissuade by throats, j bribe, or other corrupt means a witness from giving evidence in tho case against James- Reynolds Hayno and Elizabeth Simpson Ing.is, that she wilfully attempted to obstruct, per\ vert and defeat the course of justice

by attempting. to dissuade the same ivritnoss from giving evidence against Elizabeth Simpson Inglis. Evidence similar to that in tin lower court was given. The defend was a complete denial of the allegations.. .Evidence was given by accused and another woman whom accused mot outside the. hospital. The jury was addressed for the defence and it was submitted that the Crown's evidence, was unsatisfactory, The accused was found not guilty.
