Rioting in Rome
ONE KILLED, EIGHT WOUNDED. ATTEMPTED INCENDIARISM. (United Service). (Received 9.40 a.m.) London, August 8. The Daily Mail's Rome correspondent states that fierce rioting took place at a council meeting, and an attempt was made to set fire to the town hall. Carabineers fired, and an, old woman was killed, eight other persons being wounded.
