KAITIEKE COUNTY ELECTIONS, Tavumarumu, June 2. Mr Platts, S.M., heard two petitions arising from alleged irregularities at the triennial elections of tho Kaitiefce County Council. Hie declared the election for, Owhanga riding void on acoounit of impersonation by an elector, and dismissed the petition in the Raurixmi riding alleging certain ©lectors were bribed by the candidate. An Owhanga elector was ordered to. pay costs. The Magistrate said no blame waa attached to the lieturning officer.
