LESLIE—THOMSON. A pretty wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church, Stratford, on i'riday, the contracting parties being Mi W alter Edward Leslie, of Stratford( and Mss Marie Mack Thomson, second daughter of Mr and Mrs William Thomson, of Stratford.. The officiating minister was the Rev. C. W. Howard. The bride was prettily attired in lemon and white silk tissue dress, with the orthodox veil and orange blossoms and carried a choice bouquet of white chrysanthemums, lemon-colored antirrhinums, and asparagus fern. She was given away by her father, Mr W. Thomson. Miss Marjorie Curd was bridesmaid, and was attired in blue shot taletta. and wore a wreath of yellow flowers. Little Marie Thomson, neioe of the bride, acted as flower girl, and was dressed in salmon pink crepe do chene trimmed with silver leaves and carried a posy of pink and white chrysanthemums. The best man was Mr Ivan Thomson, brother of the bride. After the ceremony, a reception wa.s held at the Marble Bar, when the customary toasts wore honored and responded to. The married couple left by motor car for New Plymouth on route for Auckland, where the honeymoon is to bo spent. Both bride and bridegroom wore the recipients of numerous wedding gif;?.
