CLIFTON. Three of the six ridings in the Clifton County will be contested at the triennial election of councilors to bo held on May 9. The nominations are as follows: Mokau riding (one councillor), — Thomas Edward Astwood, William Gibb Blackloek. Urutt riding (one councillor). — Charles Hislop Ba-rnitt. Wilbiam E, Carter, Edwin Jacob Gifford, and Charles James McGuinness. Omoana Ridiing.—John Cocker and Andrew McWilliam. Ka-pohga, Riding.—Martin Walter' Baker, Alfred Vincent Messana. Eltham Ridfaig.—Charles James Belcher and Richard John Knuckey. ;.
