TAURANCA BY-ELECTION. The Theatre Royal, To Aroha, was packed on Saturday night to hear the Prime Minister, who was welcomed with much acclamation and cheering. He. was accompanied by Hon. C. J. Parr ami others. Mr Massey's address was on the lines of those previously made, hut. there was some interruption during the meeting. Mr Massey was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence in his administration, earned by acclamation, with a certain amount of counter demonstration and some cheers for Sir Joseph Ward.

Sir Joseph Ward addressed four meetings on Saturday and met large audiences at each place. It i.s stated that several Reform Ministers and Liberal Parliamentarians will take part in the campaign in various parts of the electorate.
