ROW WITH CHINESE.
TWO EUROPEANS ARRESTEE. Per Press Association, 1 ' , Christchurch, March 27. As the result of a disturbance in a ’/ Chines© restaurant yesterday, two Europeans were arjested. The allegations, of the occupants were that the men had entered the premises stating that the Chinese wore v gambling and that one Chinaman had relieved him of a sum of money. The men, Leonard Wilkinson and Thomas Ferguson, appeared at the Court this morning on a (barge of stealing 5s Cd and several Chinese coins. Wilkinson was, also charged with / having assumed tb© designation of a detective. The case was-adjourned. Bail was allowed.
