The Bolshevik f rces in the Caucasus, Pers ; a, Afghanistan and Turkestan have been placed under bis control. Enver Pasha recently sojourned at the Bolshevik headquarters in Smolensk with Trotsky. French clipomntic circles consider that the principal aim of the manoeuvre is to compel Britain to make peace with Russia quickly.
