A sensation was' created in Dunedin yesterday afternoon when it became known that Matthew Bradley, a well-known figure in civic circles, had been arrested on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge of a ffirl fourteen years of age. The accused, who is 52 years (f age, conducts a bootmaking bus'.iess in the c'ty, and came into special prominence during the war owing ro the active part he took in connection with recruiting.
