His grand-dam, Lady Peggy, waß by Hermit, a great racehorse and sire, whose stock won £340,000. Quetta, dam of Grey Leg, Gazelev's sire, was by the great horse Bend 'Or, who was by tde sire of Orine, who sired Flying Fox. Gazeley has great credentials as a sire, and his stock number many fine performers, who bare done remarkably well. One of them, Gazique, won the Winter Cup at Christchurch. value £IOOO.
