.On December 4 a farmer named Michael Donovan left Paraparaumu for Wellington in a motor launch, but no tij-ace lias since been seen of him, ah cl it is feared ho must have been drowned ;
Donovan was born in England 59 years ago, and resides at Paraparaumu-. Although ho has been missing for nearly a fortnight, the Wellington po. dice were only informed of the matter on Saturday night. Fishermen and shipping have been warned to keep a lookout for the launch, and mounted police are patrolling , the beach between Island Bay and Cape I’crawh'.ti.
