The Haw-era Branch of the Engineers, Firemen, and Cleaners’ Association carried a motion entering an emphatic protest against the action of the Government in introducing a system whereby they allege that their weekly earnings are to be considerably reduced, and calling on the executive to take what steps thej deem necessary to secure a living wage.
