Telegrams from Constantinople state that the relations of Germany and Turkey have been severed, owing to the German demand that Turkey should hand over to Germany her navy. Excitement against Germany is growing, owing to last week's events. The Germans demanded that the cruiser Hamidje /should be handed over as compensation for the Breslau which was destroyed at the Darda nelles. The Hamidje. under the German nag, bad gone to Sevastopol, despite. Turkish protests, whilst the Goeben had also left Turkey.
