FEMALE LABOUR FOR PRINTING. Per Press Association. Christchurch, April 19. The organisation of the loin ales employed in the printing and hookbinding trade has occupied the attention of members of the local Printers’ and .Machinists’ Union in Christchurch. Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington recently. As a'result the. girls have decided to accept membership of the established unions, with a view to arranging conditions oli employment tor their branch ot the trade. A conference of representatives of the New Zealand Master Printers’ Association and those of the female' workers will be held at Christchurch, when an attempt will be made to arrange conditions at employment governing the female section of the printing trade throughout the Dominion, PRACTICAL PATRIOTISM.
