AMUSEMENTS.

THE KINGS CINEMA. A MORMON MAID. Miss Mac Murray, in "The Mormon Maid" was the chief attraction at tlie King's Cinema last night, which was comfortably filled. The play, which, it is claimed, faithfully delineates the real working of Mormonism in the days of the polyamous creed's full sway, abounds in dramatic situations—from the rescue of the heroine and her parents by the Mormons from a murderous band of redskins, to the treacherous attempt to force the girl to many an already much-married Mormon elder, and to the final scene in which the unscrupulous "saint" is finally outwitted and brought low. The "Guardian Angles," or special police of Salt Lake city, facile agents of fanatical bigotry and despotic power play a great part in this thrilling story. The eigth episode of the Secret Kingdom, which is entitled "Rum Cay," and a capital War Gazette completed the programme to be finally screened to-night .
