MOTOR FATALITY AT CORE.
Gore, February 22,
Yesterday afternoon Percy George Shave, clerk, Gore, aged 17, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter for causing the death of Robert Tinnis Coomer op ,December 22. Coomcr was aged 73 and well-known as a retired district farmer and dredgeowner. He was knocked down by a oar driven by Shave, death subsequently ensuing. Accused was brought before Mr Young_ S.M., and remanded, bail being fixed at £IOO and one surety of £IOO.
