TE KUITI RACES.
The Te Kuiti Racing Club's annual ueeting was held on Saturday in iin« weather. The racing throughout was excellent and speculation brisk. The totalisator returns showed an increase oi' £2217 compared with last year's total. £15,879 being put through Results:— .Maiden Handicap, seven furlongs— Porphyry 1, St. Car] 2, Opposition 3. Otorohanga Handicap, five furlongs. -Mi!! o'Gowrie 1, Pink Tie 2, Last Call 3. Te Kuiti Cup, of 300 sows., one mile and a quarter.—Minister 1, Fionnuala 2, St. Francis 3. Also started: Ta Papapa, Torotoro, Tiuoreka. Time, 2min Osee. Had; Hurdles, one mile and threequarters —.Glendalougb 1, Kaiwhakaihaerti 2, Tennessee 'A. J Te Kuiti Hark.—Pink Tie 1, Sleepy .lack 2, Ballygowuu 3. ! Stewards' Handicap, five furlongs— Lightning 1, Glenspire 2, Soultane 3. I Farmers' Plate, eight and a-half fuilongs.—Sea De'il 1, True Gun 2; Paddington Green 3. Farewell Handicap, five furlongs.— Mill o' Gowrie I, Gaycium 2, Kitty Bellairs 3.
