At a meeting ol : the Vestry of St, Andrew's (Anglican) Church, Inglewood; on Monday (states the Record), the Hi?v. ,). A. Keinpthorne stated that lie had been offered and had accepted the charge or the parish of Tauniarunui. and expected to enter on his duties there early In the new year. 'Jlie Vestry decided to ask Archdeacon Evans to use his influence with the Bishop with a view to Mr Keinpthorne remaining at Inglewood. The "Stratford Evening Post's" special representative .at the JJawera Show wired this afternoon to the effect that the weather conditions are fair for People's Day. (tain fell very heavily last evening, hut has now ceased, giving plac,e to a moderate gale. Representatives of the Stratford A. and P. Association who are on the grounds in the interest of the Stratford Showy report that they are receiving futl support front the exhibitors.
