Wounded—Lieut.-Colonels Miell, Stoddart and Courtney, Captains MacArtney, Cameron, Watkins, Cowper, Simpson, Chambers, Lieutenants Warren, Dagar, Davey, Burkett. Missing.—Lieutenant Hanley. Killed in action.—Thirty-five noncommissioned officers and men. Died of wounds.—Fourteen. Died of Illness.—Five. Wounded 135, including J. Mahon (New Zealander). Dangerously ill.—Ten, including J. W. and T. R. Miles (New Zealanders).
