FABLES FROM BERLIN. Paisa Abbocj«ttobt. Beilin, June 17. Official: Naval airships on the 9th and 15th raided the north-east of England and bombed fortified places on the coast, causing fires and destruction of industrial establishments, including smelting fyrnaces. The airships were heavily fired upon, but were unharmed. We silenced the coast battery. The English and French continued their attempts to break our lines on I Wednesday. We recaptured the great- j er part of the trenches lost north of Lake Bellewarde. The Westphalians and Saxons overpowered the English J north of La Bassee canal, after a hand j to hand fight. The French, south of) souchez, succeeded in penetrating our j position to a width of 600 yards and obtained a foothold. Fighting is proceeding. Attacks elsewhere were rejfiilsed with sanguinary losses. They) again terminated in the defeat of the! Ibench and British by victorious hand to ban# fights, and furnish fresh proofs of the bravery and imperturbable endurance of-, our troops. General Mackensen forced the Russians to abandon their positions and retreat to Tarnoglad. The situation in the south-east of the Dneister marshes is unchanged.
