THE DAVIS CUP

New York, March 4. The Davis. Cup matches are fixed for August 13, 14, and 15. The American Committee has notified the challenging nations-that the matches between Canada, Australia, Britain and Belgium must be completed by July 25. Mr AVn u points out that this date avoids a clashing with the English tournament, whereat AVilding intends to defend his title to the championship. (Received 8.45 a.m.) New York, March 5.

The Davis cup semi finals must be completed by August 1, and the finals by August 8. ST. ANDREAVS v. PARK. A match was played yesterday between members of the St. Andrew’s blub and the Park Club on the latters ■onrt, St. Andrew’s winning by five >ets (50 games) to the Parks three sets 15 games.
