OLD AGE PENSIONS.
A CANADIAN MEASURE.

Ottawa, March 5. Mr George Kyte, in the House, of Commons, has introduced an Old Age Pensions Bill on the lines of those adopted in Australia and New Zealand.
The Finance Minister, Mr White, opposed the measure, declaring that public opinion in Canada was not ready for such action.
