SCOTLAND ON THE WING.

Timaru, March 6
■Airman Scotland left Tirnarn shortly after 8 on his aerial flight to Christchurch. In a preliminary flight, one of the planes went wrong, and,he landed to adjust it. He got away'beautifully. He sailed, over Timaru and then struck a line due north,-being 400 to 500 feet high. The weather was fine, with no wind. The flight was watched by a great many people.
