Hack Handicap Hurdles, of lOOsovs, one and three-quarter miles.—l A. Atwood's Pepalitz 9.6, (W. I). Young), 1; 2 E. Lira brick's Composed 10.0,, 2; 4 F. J. Carmont's Stockade 9.3, 3. Also started: 3 Marbleliead 11.13, 5 Sunroso 9.2, 6 Omanawa 9.2, 7 Master Malache 9.0 Paplitz fell on his nose at the start, but W. 13. Young made a wonderful recovery , and gave chase. After going a mile lie was up with the held, led into the straight; and won easily by two lengths,the v same distance separating the second and third horses. Time, 3min ISsec.

Electric Hack, of 70sovs., six furlongs.—l D. Mcleod's Zeus, 9.0 (A. Oliver) 1; P. Hunter's Mysterium 7.0, 2_; 6 Standard's Sir Aiiba 7.9, 3. Also ran: 2 Powder Fox, -1 Microbe, 5 Mystified. Zeus came through in the straight and won in a canter by half a 'ength. Time, lmin 12sec. Tamaki Welter (open), of 115sovs.

Evadne came through in the straight and won by a length, half a length separating the second and third horses. Time, lmin 30sec.
