The Bishop of London, in view of the situation in Lister, has authorised the reading of a collect next Sunday for delivery from the serious dangers and discord threatening" in Ireland. A solemn service of intercession is also authorised, introducing the litany and a prayer for preservation against the calamity ?6f civil war. i ■ The Bishop of Durham and the leaders of the various Nonconformist churches, have issued an inter-wnonii-natioual appeal for prayers next Sunday for peace in Ireland and South Africa, for wisdom in their reulers, and a spirit of brotherly love among the people.

THE EXPORTATION OF ARMS. (Received 9.20 a.m.) London, December 22. An arms proclamation has been issued under the Customs Act, which cannot cover the movement of goods from one part of the United Kingdom to another. A second proclamation sets forth the powers of the customs officials in the matter of the seizure of arms, which were intended for ultimate exportation from the United Kingdom.

SEIZURE OF AMMUNITION.
