SOME FURTHER AUSTRALIAN COMMENT. INNOVATION TOO SWEEPING. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) (Received 7, 9.JU a.m.) Sydney, December 7. The “Herald” says: There is very keen interest in Australia, and probably further abroad, in New Zealand's answer to the question of National Prohibition. Never before in the British Empire has a community had the opportunity to vote Prohibition.” It expresses the opinion that there is no very great prospect of GO jei cent, of the voters declaring for such a sweeping innovation.
