MEMBERS OF GESTAPO ESCAPE
(Rec. 10 p.m.) LISBON, November’ 20.
Nine members of the German Gestapo, belonging to a group of 13 interned by the Portuguese authorities since VE Day and recently given expulsion orders, have escaped. Only four of the 13 appeared at the airport to board a plane for Stuttgart, and after an hour’s delay the plane took off without them.
