The collier Kartigi, which \yas towed from the West Coast last week with a broken rudder stock, attempted to proceed from the wharf where she had unloaded to the floating dock. A heavy north-west wind, coupled with a heavy swell in the harbour, took charge and drove her in a contrary direction till she fetched up at anchor close inshore off Point Jerningham.
